While living in Columbus, Carol served as Vice President of The Galbreath Company in sales, marketing and asset management. She later became a partner in a Central Ohio development and brokerage company. Like so many others, the natural beauty and rural lifestyle of the Hocking Hills beckoned Carol and her husband to the Hocking Hills in the mid- 1990’s as visitors, weekenders and finally homeowners. They live in the woodland forest with their pets, each of whom simply wandered down the lane.
Carol launched CMC Real Estate Group where she continues to provide the highest levels of professional services and dedication to her clients needs and goals. Her services include sales, marketing, and consultation to individuals, families, investors, retreat home buyers and retirees. She also continues to provide counsel to and representation of small or large businesses seeking to invest or locate in Ohio’s Hocking Hills/ U. S. 33 corridor region in Southeast Ohio.
Ms. Mackey holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a law degree fromThe Ohio State University. She is a licensed attorney and real estate broker in the State of Ohio. Carol is a member of various professional associations including the Columbus and National Board of Realtors, the Logan-Hocking Chamber of Commerce, the Hocking Hills Tourism Association, the Hocking Soil & Water Conservation District and the Hocking County Farm Bureau.
Carol has served on the Boards of Hocking College, The Bowen House Community Arts & Education Center, Logan Town Center, Lancaster Festival and Lancaster Port Authority. Her passions include historic preservation, music, quiet walks in nature and community arts--- especially with and for the developmentally disabled and all the enthusiastic students at her husband’s music studio.
