The natural beauty and rural lifestyle of the Hocking Hills beckoned Carol and her husband to the Hocking Hills in the mid- 1990’s.  Carol launched CMC Real Estate Group to provide real estate related transactional and consultative services to individuals, investors, second home buyers and retirees as well as small or large businesses seeking to invest or locate in Ohio’s Hocking Hills/ U. S. 33 corridor region in Southeast Ohio. 

Ms. Mackey holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a juris doctorate degree from The Ohio State University.  She is a licensed attorney and real estate broker in the State of Ohio.  She is a member of various professional associations including the Columbus and National Board of Realtors.  She serves on the Boards of the Hocking College, the Lancaster Port Authority, the Bowen House Community Arts & Education Center and Logan Town Center, Inc.
